Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for riding with LuxeDetroit: quotes, rates, cancellations, wait times, and what to expect when you book our Metro Detroit car service.

These terms apply whenever you request a quote, make a reservation, or ride with LuxeDetroit. By booking with us, you agree to them. We have written them in plain English because that is how we prefer to do business.

Reservations and Quotes

You can reserve a vehicle online through our booking page or by calling (734) 620-4328. A quote is an estimate until we confirm your reservation. Once we confirm a flat-rate trip, that rate is fixed; it will not change because of ordinary traffic or routing. Changes you request after confirmation (different vehicle, added stops, new times) may change the price, and we will tell you before we apply them.

Rates

Payment

Online payments are handled by our secure payment processor. LuxeDetroit does not see or store your card information.

Cancellations and No-Shows

If your flight is delayed, that is not a no-show. We track inbound flights and adjust your pickup automatically at no charge.

Wait Time and Grace Periods

Airport pickups. Your rate includes a grace period after your flight's actual arrival: 30 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, which allows for customs and baggage claim. After the grace period, wait time is billed at the applicable hourly rate.

All other pickups. We include a 15-minute grace period. After that, wait time is billed at the applicable hourly rate in 15-minute increments.

Additional Stops

An en-route stop of up to 15 minutes is $10. Stops longer than 15 minutes, or stops that take the trip off its direct route, convert the trip to hourly billing. Tell us about planned stops when you book so we can quote accurately.

Child Seats

Child seats for all age groups are available for $10 per seat. Michigan law requires appropriate child restraints for young children. Request a child seat when you book so we can have the right seat installed before pickup, or you may bring your own.

Conduct and Damages

We want every vehicle to be spotless for the next rider, so a few ground rules:

Lost Items

Please check the vehicle before you leave. LuxeDetroit is not responsible for items left behind, but if you call us we will do our best to locate your item and arrange its return.

Service Delays

We plan routes carefully and leave generous buffers, but weather, traffic, road closures, and other conditions outside our control can cause delays. We make every reasonable effort to keep you on schedule. We are not liable for missed flights, connections, or events when a delay results from conditions beyond our control or when the rider delays departure beyond the recommended pickup time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be handled in the courts of Michigan.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the one that applies. Trips already confirmed are honored under the terms in effect when they were booked.
